Co-operation when you least expect it
Nice piece in PNAS by that man Dirk Helbing (AGAIN) & Wenjian Yu that suggests even in the most unlikely circumstances (i.e. in a population of disloyal selfish agents with poor memories) that cooperation and social order will emerge.
Timely, given the UK Co-op grocery business continues to grow (and the financial services business also). But maybe this kind of mutual sentiment isn't so unexpected, right now.
