Lots of noise again in the UK media today re proposals by Commons Home Select Committee to persuade the UK government to outlaw cheap booze in order to reduce Binge Drinking

Some rough international comparisons here which point (inexorably) to the conclusion we highlighted earlier in the summer that binge-drinking is a socio-cultural issue. And yes, copying lies at the heart of it…

Paul Ormerod's study for the AA on the matter might be worth a revisit, methinks, for policy makers and their pals. Or maybe, just reading around the subject might help

Strong whiff of "something-must-be-done" politics though, isn't there?
